Personal Data Processing Policy

This policy describes how the website kachkin.pro processes personal data in accordance with Russian Federal Law No. 152-FZ “On Personal Data”.

1. Operator

2. What data we process

• Email — required: signing in to your account with a code, order emails, replies to requests.
• Name and city — optional, if you provided them.
• Order data: items, amount, status, promo code, the payment ID at the payment provider. We do not receive or store bank card details: payment always takes place on the provider’s page.
• Learning data: lesson progress, quiz results, your notes on lessons (visible only to you).
• Technical data: the session cookie, a rough device label (for example, “Chrome · macOS”), sign-in time. The IP address is stored in the database only as an irreversible hash — to protect against code guessing and to record consents.
• Requests and the waitlist: email, name, city, interest, message text, the page the request was sent from.
• Consents: which document, which version, when it was accepted.

We do not store passwords: you sign in only with a one-time code from an email. Codes are stored as a hash and are valid for 10 minutes.

qPioneer (qpioneer.kachkin.pro): files you upload for qPCR analysis are processed in memory, are not stored on the server and are not shared with third parties.

3. Why

• Registration and sign-in to your account, access to paid materials — performance of the contract (the offer).
• Placing and recording orders, refunds, sending receipts — performance of the contract and legal requirements.
• Replies to requests and messages, the waitlist, the newsletter — based on your consent.
• Security: rate limiting, a log of administrator sign-ins.

4. Where the data are stored

On a server in the Russian Federation: [FILL IN: hosting provider, city]. Backups are encrypted and stored [FILL IN: where, in Russia].

5. Who receives the data

• The email service used to send emails: [FILL IN: SMTP provider].
• The payment provider — when you pay: [FILL IN: YooKassa / Prodamus / T-Bank].
• Lesson videos are embedded from VK Video or Rutube: when you watch, the player loads from their servers and may use its own cookies.
• Yandex Metrica — only if you allowed it in the banner (see section 7).

We do not sell data or share it for advertising.

6. Retention

• Account, progress and notes — until you delete your account.
• Sign-in codes are deleted a day after they expire; sessions — when they expire (30 days of inactivity).
• Requests and the waitlist — 24 months from submission or until consent is withdrawn [CHECK WITH A LAWYER].
• Orders and payments — for the period required by accounting law [FILL IN: period, check with a lawyer]; when an account is deleted, they are anonymised.

7. Cookies and analytics

The site uses one necessary cookie — the sign-in session (httpOnly, for kachkin.pro only). The account does not work without it. Yandex Metrica is enabled only after you consent in the banner; your choice is stored in the browser, and you can change it by clearing the site data.

8. Your rights

• Download your data — the “Download my data” button in your profile.
• Delete your account — in the same place. Orders are anonymised, everything else is deleted.
• Change your name, email and newsletter subscription — in your profile.
• Withdraw consent, correct or delete request data — by email to hello@kachkin.pro.

We will respond within the time limit set by law.

9. Changes to this policy

A new version is published on this page with a new version date. Consents are stored together with the version of the document you accepted.
